1 Introduction

AI Calculator Pro ("we", "our", or "the app") is a calculator application developed for Android devices. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our app.

We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy is written in plain language so you understand exactly what happens with your data.

2 Information We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit:

• Your name, email address, or any personal identifiers
• Your device's location
• Your phone number or contacts
• Photos, files, or media from your device
• Usage analytics or behavioral data
• Any information that could personally identify you

3 Data Stored on Your Device

The following data is stored locally on your device only using your device's storage. It never leaves your phone and we cannot access it:

• Calculation history — your recent calculations
• AI chat history — your previous conversations with the AI assistant
• App settings — your theme preferences, decimal precision, haptic settings
• Cached exchange rates — temporarily saved currency and gold prices (refreshed every 10 minutes)

You can delete all locally stored data at any time by clearing the app's data in your Android settings, or by using the clear history buttons within the app.

4 Internet Usage

The app connects to the internet only for the following specific purposes:

• AI Assistant: When you send a message to the AI assistant, your message is routed through our Cloudflare Workers backend to Google's Gemini API to generate a response. Google processes the message under its own privacy policy. Cloudflare processes the request solely on our behalf and does not retain message content. We do not store, log, or have access to these conversations.
• Camera Scan: When you use the scan feature, a photo is captured and sent through our Cloudflare Workers backend to Google's Gemini API for math recognition and solving. The image is processed in memory only — it is never stored on our servers or Cloudflare's, never uploaded to any storage service, and is not saved to your device's gallery. After the session ends, the image data is discarded.
• Currency Converter: Live exchange rates are fetched from the Frankfurter API (frankfurter.app), an open-source, free exchange rate service. No personal data is sent.
• Gold & Silver Prices: Live metal prices are fetched from Gold API (gold-api.com). No personal data is sent.
• Advertising: Google AdMob serves ads in the app. See section 6 for full details.

All other features — the calculator, scientific mode, and all tools except those requiring live data — work entirely offline.

5 Third-Party Services

The app uses the following third-party services. Each has their own privacy policy:

• Google Gemini API — powers the AI assistant and camera scan feature. Google's privacy policy applies to AI conversations and scanned images.
• Cloudflare, Inc. — provides the backend infrastructure (Cloudflare Workers) that securely routes requests from the app to Google's Gemini API. Cloudflare processes data solely on our behalf and does not retain message content. Their privacy policy applies to data in transit through their edge network.
• Google AdMob — displays advertisements (including optional rewarded video ads that grant in-app credits). Your device's Advertising ID may be shared with Google to serve relevant ads. See section 6 for full details.
• Android Camera — used only when you tap the scan button. Photos are processed immediately and never stored or shared.
• Android Text-to-Speech — reads AI responses aloud using your device's built-in TTS engine. Entirely on-device, no data sent anywhere.
• Frankfurter API — provides currency exchange rates. Open-source, no personal data collected.
• Gold API — provides live metal prices. No personal data collected.
• Google Play Services — for app distribution and updates.

6 Advertising (Google AdMob)

AI Calculator Pro displays advertisements served by Google AdMob to keep the app free for everyone. You can also choose to watch a rewarded video ad in exchange for additional AI credits — these rewarded ads only play when you tap the "Watch Ad" button inside the credits screen, and are entirely optional.

To serve relevant ads and prevent fraud, AdMob may collect and process:

• Advertising ID — a resettable, non-personal identifier provided by your device's operating system
• Device information — such as device type, OS version, and approximate (country-level) region
• Ad interaction events — whether an ad was shown, viewed, or clicked, used by Google to prevent invalid traffic

This data is collected and processed by Google, not by us. We never receive or have access to your Advertising ID or any other AdMob data — Google handles everything under its own privacy policy.

You have full control over how ads are personalized to you:

• On Android: open Settings → Google → Ads and toggle Opt out of Ads Personalization, or tap Reset advertising ID to start fresh
• Visit policies.google.com/technologies/ads for Google's full advertising practices and EU/UK consent options

Even if you opt out of personalized ads, you will still see ads — they simply won't be tailored to your interests.

7 Children's Privacy

AI Calculator Pro is intended for users 18 years of age and older and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

8 Data Security

Since we do not collect or store any personal data on our servers, there is no risk of your personal information being exposed through our systems.

Data stored on your device (history, settings) is protected by your device's own security features (screen lock, encryption). We recommend keeping your device software updated and using a screen lock for best security.

9 Your Rights

Since we do not collect personal data, most data rights (access, deletion, portability) are automatically fulfilled. Specifically:

• Right to access: All your data is already on your device, fully accessible to you
• Right to deletion: Clear app data in Android settings at any time
• Right to portability: Your data is locally stored and under your full control

10 Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.

Continued use of the app after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
